Personality:  Ember is a very intuitive dog, before you even utter a single word or command she is already doing what you have asked of her. A little more reserved then most Border Collies and a touch submissive, which can be a bit problematic at times. Around other dogs, she does not take much 'guff' initially but eventually after two months or more she settles in to accepting them. Around people, she's a bit more stand-offish and has to approach you on her terms and her terms alone. In the show ring, she's very much the same way and requires her muzzle to be held for this very reason.  Em is incredibly playful dog and enjoys by far mostly 'fetch'. Her favorite toys are a tennis ball and plush squirrel/chipmunk which she carries around like a baby.  She has a bit of a possessiveness in her that can be a little annoying at times and she is a finicky eater. One most interesting trait this bitch has, however, is she reads lips very well and can spell. Her favorite game to play is hide and seek.
